A lawyer by training, CH’NG Poh Tiong writes, since 1998, the world’s oldest, continuous wine column in Chinese in the word in Singapore’s largest circulation Chinese newspaper, the Lianhe Zaobao. He is also publisher of The Wine Review, since 1991, the oldest wine publication in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and China. Ch’ng also publishes, since 2000, the world’s first “Guide to Bordeaux in Chinese”. A columnist for Decanter magazine, Ch’ng also writes a column in China’s Food & Wine magazine and a blog in Sina.com, one of China’s biggest internet portal. Ch’ng is also author of the bi-lingual Chinese/English book “108 Great Chinese Dishes Paired” and ebook at www.108chinesepairings.com.
